FIRE ALARM SYSTEM INSPECTIONS & TESTING
DFC can set you up on a schedule that will notify you when your inspection is due. We will send our technicians out to review your building and test all your devices to make sure they are operating at their best abilities and are up to code.

TYPES OF FIRE INSPECTIONS & TESTING
Types of inspections and testing that should occur:
Visual Inspection
This should be conducted regularly to check batteries, inspect duct detectors, heat detectors, and smoke detectors, and inspect fuses and power supply. Scheduled inspections can be made on an as-needed basis.
Functional Testing
Involves testing the performance of different components and devices of the fire alarm system. It is recommended to have this conducted once a year
System Testing
Involves testing the overall operation and integration of the fire alarm system. It is typically recommended to have any system tested annually.
